This butyl tape is much stickier than I thought, plan your installation before you apply it as it is difficult to reposition or remove. It is made to stick and seal permanently and I think it does a good job. Highly recommended!
I have looked at many butyl tapes, most are expensive, this one is cheaper but it exceeded my expectations, sticks very well and forms a good shape with the existing surface, not easy to remove, works super well!
Use it to repair my above ground pool! The skimmer part of my 10 year old pool was rusted, so I first covered the rusted part of the skimmer with a stainless steel repair kit and then taped the screws and seams of the stainless steel panels to prevent damage. My pool liner and it works great!
